Great post on the value of MySpace over at the Music Technology Policy Blog: MySpace is so 2005.
For young people, CompuServe could never be killed, then AOL could never be killed, then GeoCities was, like, wow, now MySpace will never be killed...
And, BTW, seems like this site should be banned from the Internet and all young bands should somehow learn what to do via the atmosphere in bars. Why? Because it has a Mom attached to it. And Moms automatically poison the rock atmosphere. Now, Moms may poison the rock atmosphere in regards to creativity. (RockStar Daughter writes all her own music and lyrics, and keeps RockStar Mom and RockStar Dad out of the garage studio while she is doing it.) But how can a young artist do everything at once when they have no business experience?
